Place 2 Be
At Warren Hills, well-being of our pupils, parents and staff is very important to us. We are one of the first primary schools in Leicestershire to offer a counselling service called Place 2 Be. Selected pupils who use this service have a weekly counselling session where they are able to off-load their worries and develop strategies to deal with their feelings and emotions. Our Project Manager Sophie has regular meetings with parents to support them too.
All other children have access to a service called Place to Talk. This is a drop in session during break and lunchtimes, where the children go to chat to our Project Manager, Sophie, about issues that are concerning them. These are often worrries at home or often friendship issues. All children enjoy these sessions and bennefit from it.
Staff at school can also access the service.
