ELSA
We have four trained Emotional Literacy Support Assistants working at Warren Hills. They support children who have short and long term emotional needs. These children are allocated an ELSA, which they meet regularly to discuss their worries and concerns. They also check in with them first thing in the morning to check everything is OK.
Our trained ELSAs are Mrs L Walker, Mrs T Smith, Miss D Whittaker and Mrs S Cooke.
Mrs Smith and Miss Whittaker also run a drop in session called 'Sparkle Hour' at lunch time, where children are actively encouraged to pop into if they are experiencing difficulties during lunchtime.
